Happy Sunday!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
Yesterday I took a break from the computer and got a bunch of errands and cleaning done. By the time the evening came I was ready to relax.
Joe and I made things easy and ordered some Chinese food for dinner.
We shared wonton soup
He had Szechuan chicken
I had tofu and eggplant in garlic sauce with brown rice
Purple and delicious!
We also watched the French movie, A Prophet.
It is a prison/mobster movie. Really good!
Today I started out the day with an omelet and bagel thin and two leisurely cups of coffee. And a clementine! They’re back!
In a little bit we’re going to look at some new dining room tables and then I’m going to head out for a run.
Speaking of running, I got an email with my corral and bib number for the Philly Half! I’m excited but now I’m NERVOUS!
Not nervous about the running as much as getting there on time, being in the right place, etc. I’ve never run in a big race before, so it’s all new to me.
Eek!
Alright I’m going to get movin.
Have you run in a big city race before? Any tips for me?
Do you like foreign films?
Congrats on getting into the Philly race. I’m sure it’ll all turn out great. Enjoy your run today.
Thanks Di!
That whole meal sounds like fun!
I know, I think take out is so fun!
Good luck in the race. I have never been in a race so big it’s corralled. You are going to do fabulously though!
Aww thanks Hollie!
i love foreign films but i have to be in the mood for them. chinese food, though, i’m ALWAYS ready for
Yeah I agree that I need to be in the mood to READ a movie. Have you heard of A Prophet? It was great.
Is the Philly Half on Thanksgiving? I’m running my first half in Atlanta on Thanksgiving. I’m so nervous!
Good luck Sarah! you’ll do great! My race is this weekend, before T-giving.
congrats on your race, you’re gonna do awesome!! my biggest (and only) consisted of 13,000 participants, but my husband did one with 80,000 (apparently, one of the largest in the world.) my only tip: have a great playlist and get someone else to make it for you. that way, it’s a surprise and you never know what you’ll hear next!
Wow, 80,000? I have no idea how many people run Philly. My sister said she would give me her ipod to use so it will all be new stuff, but there are some songs that I MUST have on there!
