When I clean the house, I like to think of myself in an 80′s movie montage.
I put my hair in a super high bun,
put on some tunes, and run around the house like a maniac cleaning until..boom, it’s done. Like magic.
Lunch came together pretty quickly too. I made my Cheesy Roasted Vegetable Pasta and I also added some of these:
Not the prettiest plate of pasta ever, but it was very tasty.
And I totally overcooked the pasta because I was really enjoying my 80′s Google image search.
What’s your favorite 80′s movie?
I think mine is Troop Beverly Hills. But who can pick just one?
Pretty much any John Cusack movie, but I also had an obsession with the Labyrinth which led to a weird fascination with David Bowie. Oh the 80′s…
David Bowie is pretty fascinating!
I love the three amigos!
Good one!
do you KNOW how many times i’ve seen Troop Beverly Hills??? lol….my 10th birthday was probably 3 times alone.
i would have to say Back to the Future is my all time favourite though. classic!
A total classic! I just remember that Hannah had a balance beam in her room, and it’s all I ever wanted in life.
I always put my hair into a high side bun when I’m cleaning…or lazy too! Ha. I thought I was the only one who rocked that. I swear I meant to have lived my life in the 80s.
i can’t choose one 80′s movie – i have too many!!! meatless meatballs are da bomb. i love this post.
I love 80′s movies. Since I can’t pick just one I will name a few. Girls Just Want to Have Fun was a constant sleepover companion. Goonies because it reminds me of my little brother. Footloose because it was filmed where I grew up and all of the buildings that it was filmed in are now destroyed so it brings back the good old days. National Lampoons Christmas Vacation is a classic every Christmas must for me. I even named my cat Sparky after Chevy Chase’s character.
Christmas Vacation is my #1 favorite movie. We have a yearly tradition in my family that no one is allowed to watch it alone until after we’ve all watched it together at least once.
